_{Say hello to my persona, Ashenfury.

I learned that she was my persona, the truest part of myself, when I began writing with StarfireEspo. Now, the story I am writing with her is still going on, but I felt I needed a draconic version of this character to make my own - to show people her without them knowing about our story to the fullest.

So to preface, Ash (as she is known by most) will have several different draconic "forms" that you will see. This is her basic, "normal" or standard version, if you will. The reason there will be multiple forms of her is because she will have different forms depending on stories and scenarios that I have with her. (i.e. Corrupted form, Deity form, etc,) But I will always explain which story the drawing is pertaining to, so hopefully it won't be as confusing... I was nervous about doing this at all because of the potential confusion it might bring, but... It's a risk I feel I need to take. No one likes having to hide themselves, you know? So please, bear with me during this process...

This personal drawing was difficult and time consuming because I attempted to shade in greyscale before I colored her. The effect was worth it but exhausting. I do not have a timelapse of this because it was going to take over 2 hours to encode... But if enough people desire it, I will upload at a later date.

But Rei, I thought Reithya was your sona?
You're right, Reithya was my sona for several years, and it's easy to think that she still is (since she and my username are the same). However, Ash is my true sona, where all my other characters are certainly parts of myself (Reithya is no exception), Ash merely is who I am the most. This does not mean I love Reithya any less, merely that Ash is simply who I am. I hope this makes sense...

This was the biggest challenge I've taken on this year, with 5 hours of research, a preliminary drawing that took 3 hours, and this product you see here after another 11 hours. I want to thank everyone involved with this process... You all know how nervous and excited I was and put up with my anxiety to help Ash truly come to life. noctem-tenebris gave me a red line to help her anatomy fit, finalizing her shape, Rahjital was my personal cheerleader and encouraged me not to give up, morArthfael giving me the inspiration to finally pick up the challenge, and StarfireEspo for helping me to create her.
